Stunning Sunflowers!

Sadie and Jay’s gorgeous wedding took place in the amazing setting of Bassmead Manor Barns, which is surrounded by open countryside making it the perfect place for a country/rustic styled wedding. I really loved working on the flowers for this wedding in order to get the colours just right, as Sadie chose such a bold and vibrant scheme, mixing golden yellow sunflowers with coral Miss Piggy roses and antirrhinums, bright coral hypericum berries, dusky Mentha roses and touches of dainty gypsophila which helped to give the designs a rustic feel.

You can see the full mix of flowers and colours in Sadie’s stunning had tied bouquet, which really did suit her personality and colouring so well…

Doesn’t she just look amazing!

Bride and bridesmaids with gypsophila posies

The bridesmaids wore dresses in a pale dusky shade very close in colour to Mentha roses, which were used in Sadie’s bouquet along with the brighter coloured flowers. They carried simple posies of massed gypsophila to suit the rustic scheme and touches of gypsophila were added to the other flower designs too.

Jay wore a coral Miss Piggy rose buttonhole to match those in Sadie’s bouquet – just love the coral tie and hankie too!
