Ben and Danielle's wedding took place last May in Ben's home town of Stamford - there couldn't be a better setting! The ceremony was held in the historic chapel of Ben's old school - Stamford Boys School - followed by a marquee reception in the garden of his parents' house in Stamford. This stylish couple had a clear view on how they wanted their wedding to look and chose a white and grey wedding scheme, with lots of trailing foliage (including silvery-grey eucalyptus) and white flowers everywhere. Danielle was keen to have a fairly traditional wedding, but with a modern and stylish feel... and I'm sure you will agree that this was definitely achieved!  And just to add to the pressure, Ben is a designer and founder of the Old English Company. As he designed the wedding invitations and other wedding stationery himself I was keen that the flowers would fit with his vision too!

Danielle had very clear ideas on how she wanted her wedding flowers to look and we chose some fabulous white and ivory flowers, such as hydrangeas, peonies, roses, phlox, lisianthus and freesias offset by grey and green foliage to create the look she loved. I think I must have got it right as this is what Danielle has said on her Rock my Wedding Blog (do take a look for more photos and styling tips from this stunning wedding): 'Our florist was amazing. Flowers were one of the most important things for me and I had clear visions of how I wanted it to look. I couldn’t quite find any photos online of exactly how I wanted things, but Helen Jane floristry brought my visions to life and turned them into a reality.'.... well, I always do my best :-)

I was so delighted to be involved in this beautiful white wedding! Many thanks to Ben and Danielle for sharing some of their amazing professional images with me, taken by James Corbett (thanks to James too for letting me share them with you - his (as I'm sure you can tell) are the 'action' shots!
