Gallery: Natalie & Alex

I had so much fun creating the floral designs for Natalie and Alex’s stunning summer wedding, particularly as they featured golden sunflowers – I always think their ‘happy’ faces are perfect for a country wedding!

I was asked to create natural-looking designs with plenty of foliage to suit the country setting of Exton Park and their marquee reception. As well as sunflowers the designs were to include other flowers in yellow, shades of lavender and lilac to pick up the colour of the bridesmaids’ dresses, and touches of ivory and cream. Such a lovely bright colour scheme for a summer wedding.

The most fun (and greatest challenge!) came when I created hanging designs with masses of trailing foliage to be suspended from the top of the marquee frame. Perfect for the rustic look the couple wanted to achieve and a good way to make an impact in such a large space. I think they did the job – see what you think….

I hope you enjoy looking at some of the photos from a fabulous day and my thanks to Natalie and Alex for allowing me to share some of their photos (as well as a few of my own). The amazing professional images were taken by Adam Johnson (arj-photo.co.uk), so my thanks to Adam too.
