Do you like the idea of arriving at your wedding in style in a classic Rolls Royce?  Tony and Joan Richardson run a family wedding car hire service, with an emphasis on good service and making you feel very special for the day.  They own a gorgeous dark blue Rolls Royce Silver Spirit, which Tony polishes meticulously (and yes, I did do the flowers for the back window!), and also a sand coloured Lexus 450 Hybrid.  Brides' Cars is based in Ramsey Heights and covers all the local counties.

Jeeves Catering has a huge amount of experience in catering for special occasions of all sizes, including weddings, parties, teas and corporate events.  Susan and her team prepare and serve delicious freshly made food using the finest local ingredients, so you know you will be in safe hands.

Lisa and Dave stock a simply gorgeous hand picked collection of wedding dresses and bridal accessories and their fabulous shop in Wansford is well worth a visit – apart from anything else they are lovely and will make you feel very special! They are also an award-winning menswear supplier, so the guys don’t have to feel left out.

All brides want to look their best for their wedding day, and we all know that it sometimes means losing a bit of weight and toning up to fit into the dress you have set your heart on, particularly as you will have cameras pointing at you all day long!  If you're like me and find it difficult to motivate yourself to exercise regularly and watch what you eat, then I can't recommend Stamford Personal Fitness highly enough.  In my case it's more about keeping myself physically and mentally fit enough to do my job - floristry involves an awful lot of heavy lifting - and Rob has been incredibly supportive and encouraging during the 18 months I have trained with him.  What's more, he makes training fun!

Rachel simply takes beautiful photographs. But more than that, she has a way of making even the most reluctant of people relax and look their best in front of the camera - and I should know because I hate having my photograph taken!  Your photographs are so important as they are a permanent reminder of your special day, so make sure you pick someone who is highly qualified and experienced like Rachel so you can be confident your memories will be captured.

Spiegl Press is a long established, commercial printing company in Stamford, run by Jo & Hugo Spiegl.  They offer a completely bespoke (but affordable!) service where any amount of help and guidance is available.  They use traditional artisan craft techniques such as hot foil blocking, embossing, thermographing and shape cutting to ensure that your stationery is completely unique and just how you want it. Everything from Save the Dates to Thank You cards can be supplied, including table plans and place cards.

Helen from Dilly & Taylor is a perfectionist - it must go with the name! If you are looking for beautifully tied chair sashes, runners and swags, or spotlessly clean and crease-free chair covers, do talk to Helen. As you can imagine I do see a lot of venues once they have been dressed and are waiting for their floral centrepieces...

This favourite venue of mine is in a lovely setting on the edge of beautiful Rutland Water, which makes it a perfect place for your wedding reception if you are planning a ceremony at nearby Normanton Church. However, the hotel can accommodate your wedding ceremony too as well as having one of the largest reception rooms in the area in a self-contained suite.
