Blue & White Wedding

Gabriella and Jaime’s wedding took place in the beautiful gardens at The William Cecil in Stamford. Luckily it was a gorgeous late summer day which enabled them to enjoy an outdoor ceremony in the wedding pavilion. The couple chose a simple colour scheme of blue and white, which looked stunning – see what you think….

Blue and white bridal bouquet

Gabriella chose to carry a bouquet of blue and white flowers in a neat style, but with a mix of flowers, including dainty gypsophila, to create a natural look to suit the country setting. Other flowers included ivory roses, lisianthus and freesias with gentians and eryngiums to pick up the blue shades.

The flowers coordinated beautifully with the dark blue suits worn by Jaime and the groomsmen. And in their buttonholes they wore white Akito rose buttonholes to match those in the bridal bouquet.

Don’t Gabriella and her sister, Daniella, look gorgeous! The bridesmaids carried posies of flowers to match the bridal bouquet, including plenty of pretty gypsophila and a mix of blue and white flowers to contrast against their navy dresses.

Blue and white flowers for the wedding reception

After enjoying time in the sun with family and friends, the wedding party moved to the marquee for the wedding breakfast, which had been decorated with striking navy chair sashes and jars filled with blue and white country flowers. Log slices, jam jars and handfuls of pretty country flowers gave a rustic look to the tables - perfect for a countryside setting!
